Some Random Photos--George's Post

Here are some random photos taken over the last couple of months.   No theme, no pattern, just images of life in the mission field.

The Zingwangwa building is now accessed by a ramp.   The picture was taken during the construction.   Now getting into the building is much safer.

The Church has also recently installed a water tower for the Zingwangwa meetinghouse.

We will never tire of seeing the Malawian women wearing their colorful chitenge.

This man is carrying bags of "gamba puffs," a favorite snack for Malawian kids.

This mountain is in Mozambique.   The picture was taken when we went with President Matale to visit the SAFI project, north of Lilongwe, where there are five LDS families in training.   The M-1, the major arterial between Blantyre and Lilongwe, runs along the Malawi/Mozambique border for a number of miles.

Brother Kanjala at SAFI (the School of Agriculture for Family Independence).   He and his family will be on the SAFI campus for 9 months, before returning to their home village to apply what they learn.

Sisters Solomone and Thueson.   Great sisters, but sadly no longer in Blantyre.

The Stones and Nathan, just before they returned to the United States in January.   This was their third mission together.   They were exceptional missionaries, laboring in Lilongwe, so we didn't see them nearly as much as we would have liked.
